BSC Bundaberg Branch Manager Dale Jackson recalls how failing to order gland packings for a scheduled gearbox replacement almost caused a major downtime for a large gold mine. Luckily for the mine, BSC partner Seal Innovations was able to cut the gland packing and deliver it in time to avert a potential loss of $250,000 due to downtime.
