When an iron ore mine in Tasmania experienced catastrophic failure on multiple pump assemblies, the teams as CMA and WEBSTER BSC combined efforts to deliver an above and beyond solution.
The site was experiencing major contamination within the lubrication system, but the original manufacturer was completely out of stock of replacement pumps. Lucky, Motion Australia’s Chief Engineer, Ian Duncan, recognised the style of pump and coordinated a charter flight between Burnie, Melbourne and Sydney to deliver the necessary parts.
