20 Apr CRC gives the green light for food grade plastics
As a Key Account Executive at BSC for, Duncan McKellar works alongside CRC Industries to supply a comprehensive range of lubrication products to a national company making PET plastic containers for food packaging. CRC’s versatile range of grease, oil and lubricant pastes perform well under pressure to eliminate sticking and binding on high-friction machinery points, extending their wear life and mitigating the risk of part failure.
“This customer was using various brands of spray lubricants, some of which were food grade, but not all,” Duncan says. “When they began production of PET plastic food and beverage containers, it became crucial for them to integrate food-safe materials across the plant. My proposal to standardise their lubricant range lead to them opting for CRC to satisfy all applications. They have been extremely happy with the results.”
