18 Nov Passionately changing how business is done
For an engineering group that has only been in business since 2008, Munster Services Group have enjoyed rapid growth undertaking increasingly larger and more complex construction, maintenance, refurbishment, electrical, mechanical engineering and asset management projects in Queensland and nationwide, growth which can strongly be attributed by the team’s passion for what they do in the communities they operate.
Comprising a team of engineers and skilled trade people, Munster has its head office located in Slacks Creek Queensland, from where it undertakes a wide range of projects within the water and wastewater, utilities, commercial and infrastructure sectors.
Supporting the company’s onsite trades and engineers are offsite service , mechanical, electrical and fabrication workshops in Slacks Creek, Underwood, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, from where Munster’s service teams excel in metal fabrication, mechanical refit and repair of pumps and motors and electrical rebuilds and repairs. Martin Dunn, Munster’s Business Development Manager, says the company’s secret to success lies in the way it views and handles business and values its employees.
“Our business is different, and that difference is the passionate people we employ, our positive company culture builds a collective drive to deliver quality project outcomes for our clients and communities in which we operate,” he says. Through a business partnership with BSC, Munster has been reliably supplied with industry leading technical support, unrelenting customer service, quality bearings and consumables which help assure the delivery of reliable, efficient and safe operating equipment for some of Queensland’s largest water utility providers.
BSC Technical Sales Representative, Gavin Seeto is of the opinion that Munster has performed particularly well in building long-term relationships with its customers and supply partners.
“The Munster team provides excellent service to its customers which, in combination with BCS’s world leading and respected brands, explains how they have built such a positive reputation in such a short time,” Gavin says.
Martin says Munster has also been proactive in implementing technologies such as cloud services to improve its team’s efficiency. “Our in-field staff have access to cloud technology that provides them with immediate access to engineering drawings, documents with detailed scope of project requirements and the real-time capability of uploading maintenance service reports anytime, anywhere,” Martin says.
“We are continually reviewing how we do business, researching and investing in new technologies that can be embedded in our business to drive improvements in our services, quality and safety for our people, our clients and the communities we support.”
